I stumbled across an online community for writers last week called Protagonize. I don’t really notice communities anymore, just because there are so many now a days. But I found Protagonize and was drawn in by one of the stores featured on it’s homepage and now I’m hooked.

This site is more than just a social network for authors. Users can create profiles and submit stories of their own for others to read. More than that though, as an author you can allow other authors to continue your story. So what you end up with are stories with multiple authors and sometimes multiple story line paths that you can follow. It’s really an interesting concept and it’s been nicely executed.

I just posted my first story and am looking forward to seeing where it goes. Swing over sometime this week, between family and turkey, and check it out.
