That's really nice to hear from you. Thanks for this valuable guidance. Now I set my target to get ZCE next year in April. Will do my best practice regularly for One Year. Let's see what happens.
:)

Thanks and congratulations once again.

Hi Prabhjeet: the best resource for learning PHP is of course http://www.php.net. Spending time with their online documentation and getting comfortable with it's structure is a good thing. For good general information, as well as certification review material, I would suggest the PHP 5 Certification Study Guide (http://www.phparch.com/c/books/id/0973862149) from php|architect. Aside from that I'm not sure on books, it's been a while since I've purchased any new programming books so the ones I know of are old and probably outdated.

In terms of how much time it would take to get your ZCE, that totally depends on how much time you can spend to preparation. I couldn't really dedicate any real time to the process so it took me a year and a half because I never really put my mind to it until recently. But if you dedicate some time to it and really get comfortable with things I don't see a reason why you couldn't do it in a couple of months.

One thing i want to ask Chris. I'm new in php and still learning. What books do u recommend to learn it in better way or what method do u suggest to learn rathar than regular practice. And in how much time i can be able to give a test for ZendCI.

Thanks
