The Man, The Myth, The Legend
I’m Chris Monnat, a professional web worker based in Rochester, NY. My specialty is web application development although I have an appreciation for the design side as well. You’ll typically find me slaving over lines of PHP code… but I have also been known to slice the odd design or two in Photoshop and build them out in XHTML and CSS. I’ve developed a series of applications over the years and have even sold one. Find out more on my projects page.
I graduated from Morrisville State College in 2006 with a BA in IT concentrating on web development. I’m an entrepreneur, an Eagle scout and a Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE) for PHP 5.
Employment
From 9-5 I’m desk bound at Practis, Inc. where I’m a Web Application Developer focusing on the medical industry. After hours I’m the owner of Left of Center Communications (LOCC), the maker of Sign-Up-Sheet.com. LOCC started as a college internship in 2006 and quickly transformed into a web development agency focusing on web applications. Sign-Up-Sheet.com, launched May 2010, is the current flagship product. Earlier projects include BadgeTracker, sold in Jan. 2010, and ScoutMailer.
I am always interested in discussing business/employment opportunities. My resume is available online and you can get in touch with me via e-mail by sending a message to chris [at] monnat.org.
