Google’s Building a Boat!
I just read an interesting post from the NY Times Freakonomics blog about Goggles potential plans to set some of their data centers afloat. I’ve read discussions about floating data centers before, just not related to Google.

New Microsoft Add
I saw the new Microsoft TV add this morning with Jerry Seinfield and I think it’s great. Funny and entertaining yes, but I’m not really all that sure what it’s trying to sell or explain.

Gary Vaynerchuk

Surprise Your Customers
I have a subscription to National Geographic Adventure magazine, the photos in it kick ass and I also enjoy dreaming of running off to the bizzare destinations they write about. Anyway, about a month ago I came across a brightly colored full page add for a web site called Zappos. After visiting the site and looking around a little I determined that it was just another online shoe store and moved on.

Turn your RSS feed into an e-mail newsletter!
I had one of those duh moments this morning. Every once and a while I come across a web app that solves a problem or does something interesting and I can’t help but ask myself “why didn’t I think of that?”. The app I found this morning is called Nourish and it allows you to turn any RSS feed into an e-mail newsletter. In looking through their site it looks like the app was launched back in January (of ’08) and I think the concept is brilliant.
